Locks and Cupboards
My goal this week was to install safety locks on relevant drawers and cupboards in the kitchen and the bathroom. It took me a few days to get it done because I had to learn how to work a drill, mark and put holes in the cupboards for screws, get the correct tools, and get enough safety mechanisms! Whew. But we did it! Now I feel good about my future preschoolers being in a safe environment... not to mention baby "K" is getting more mobile every day!

Snow Day
Today was baby "K's" first snow experience! We dressed up in our snow gear and headed outside for sledding! The cold wind wasn't "K's" favorite thing, but she was definitely interested in all this white covering her yard. She watched snowflakes falling down and patted the soft snow underneath her.
In case of snow days during the calendar session, school will remain open. If you would like to bring your child and are able to get to Harmony's House on snowy roads, please bring your child in snow gear. We will be studying and exploring winter weather up close and first hand!

Welcome... I'm under construction
Welcome to Harmony's House! In the next few months I plan to open my home to toddlers and preschoolers for a part-time preschool experience! Bookmark this Blogspot and check back often for updates on open enrollment, start-up dates, etc. They will be coming soon! For now, read up about me and the preschool experience I am planning (see the pages at the top).
