The wee leprechauns of Harmony's House counted out pots of gold and found the corresponding numeral to match!
This play continued in the Rainbow Rice Explore Table, along with leprechaun jigs and other St. Paddy's Day shenanigans. ;)
Some of the children's words were:
"I want to do five next! 1-2-3-4-5. Where is the five?"
"This is the same number as my age!"
"I got eleven. How do you make an eleven?"
"Oooh this pot has lots of gold!"
"Does anyone see the eight?"
It was surprisingly engaging, both the counting, number conversations, and the jigs. ;)
